Annual Bishop's Appeal for the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Each year our parish joins the Annual Bishop's Appeal of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix, which serves a vast region throughout the western United States. Our Eparchy currently ministers in 9 of the 13 western states, supporting 19 parishes, 4 missions, and 3 outreaches. Through this appeal, we help sustain the ministries that unite and strengthen our Church across this large and growing territory.
This year our parish has been given a goal of $21,600, and our Mission is $5,400. These figures are based on the number of households that make our congregations.
The Annual Appeal helps our Bishop maintain the Pastoral Center, including the Chancery and Tribunal, which provide essential guidance, administration, and pastoral support for our clergy and faithful. These services allow the Bishop to shepherd our Eparchy effectively and remain present to our communities across the West.
We ask each household to prayerfully consider a suggested gift of $300. Your generosity directly supports many important ministries throughout the Eparchy, including:

Seminarian formation, helping offset tuition and housing costs

Clergy pension support, ensuring care for our priests who have faithfully served the Church

Catechesis and religious education programs for our parishes

Vocations initiatives that encourage future priests and religious

Youth ministry, including support for teens attending the annual Teen Rally

Family and spiritual formation events, such as the Alive in Christ retreat for fathers and sons and the Myrrh Bearers Retreat for mothers, daughters, and women
These ministries, along with many others, help build a strong and sustainable foundation for our Eparchy. They enable our Bishop to make pastoral visits, support our clergy and faithful, and continue spreading the Gospel throughout the western United States.
